2020-2021 Practice Changes:  Practices will start (TBD).  Practices will be held at the Morris Building across the Highway from the Fieldhouse.  The HS has allowed us use of two of their full size mats to practice on.

The practice schedule will be posted as soon as registration has been complete. Cancellations and any changes will be posted on the website and on Facebook.  Please check often as these schedules are subject to change.  

If your child or family member is sick or has any COVID symptoms, please keep them home.  If your child is unable to go to School due to being sick or a COVID close contact, please do NOT send them to practice.

Parents will be allowed to stay at the facility during practice but please practice social distancing and limit it to 1 parent and no siblings. 

Any parents willing to helping out during practice drills would be much appreciated, please speak to the coach ahead of time.  Wrestlers MUST bring own water bottle.

SINGLET INFO: All of those who received a singlet last season please return your singlet the first day of practice and you will receive your check.  If you have a wrestler that wrestled last year however is not wrestling this year please contact us and we will schedule a time to meet up and get the singlet.

Once we receive all the singlets we will be able to redistribute to those that need them this coming season. 

Apparel:  Gym shorts & T-shirt is recommended for practices. There will be an area to leave bags, clothes and outside shoes while practice is in session.  Wrestling shoes or socks will be the only footwear allowed on the wrestling mats. Head gear is optional.

We are unsure if there will be any tournaments available this year.  If there are, you can attend these at your own discretion.  There is a possibility that there will not be coaching available at these tournaments.  Schedules/flyers will be posted on the website as tournament information becomes available.

Pre-register: This is required for very few local tournaments.  National tournaments will require pre-registration. You can find this out by clicking that particular tournament on the above website.

Brooks Monfore Tournament: We are still working on if we will be able to host any sort of tournament this year and will have that info available as soon as possible. 

 

DISTRICTS/REGIONS/STATE: TBD

 

AAU CARDS:

What is it: Liability insurance for clubs/teams. We highly recommend that you purchase your AAU card at the beginning of the season.  This provides additional insurance coverage (after your primary insurance) in the event an injury would occur in practice or tournament.  The cost is only minimal and you will need it for Districts at the end of the season.
