Sorry for the late notice, however we will be having a board meeting this Tuesday June 19th at 7:30pm in the high school wrestling room. Some of the topics to be discussed will be:

-Current and future Board representatives and officers
-Possible changes to the Bylaws
-Dual Tournaments/process
-Committees for our Tournaments
-Closed door group 3 practices
-Registration Process for next year
-New Coffee maker

Adam Aho Camp This Wed/Thur May 30th/31st

Just a quick reminder that the first of three Summer Series Camps (Adam Aho) will kick off tomorrow at 1pm for 2017/2018 tots/bantams/midgets. Novice, schoolboy, cadets, and juniors will start at 3pm. Please use the back door/outside entrance to the high school wrestling room. If you have any questions you can email us (pierreyouthwrestling@outlook.com), or refer to the website pierrewrestling.com. Also please fill out the summer series wrestling registration form, and bring it to your first camp or practice. You can find the registration form on web site as well.

Designated Camp times:

Tots/Bantams/Midgets -1:00pm-3:00pm

Novice/Schoolboy/Cadets/Juniors - 3:00pm-5:00pm

Robert Kokesh: June 27th & 28th

Damion Hahn: July 9th & 10th



Summer Series Wrestling:

High School Wrestling Coaches will be running the practices..

Tuesdays 6:30am - Kids going into 6th grade on up (2018-2019 school year)

Wednesdays 12-1pm - Beginner through 5th grade (2018-2019 school year)

June 6th (Coach Heasley) Single Leg Set-ups and Finishes

June 13th (Coach Lewis) Wrist Rides Nd Tilts

June 20th (Coach Uhrig) Escapes and hand control

July 18th (Coach Lewis) Cradles and Butchers

July 25th (Coach Heasley) Tight waist and Spiral rides

August 1st (Coach Uhrig) High crotch and doubles

12:00-12:15 – Warm-up/Acrobatics/Common Drills

2:15 – 12:35 – Drilling/Technique Session

12:35 – 12:40 – Break

12:40 – 12:55 – Live Situation Wrestling

12:55 – 1:05 – Live Wrestling – 3 ½ minute Matches

1:05-1:15 – Games/Cool Down Activities

We will be hosting the following camps for Registered Governor Wrestlers:

May 25-26 Adam Aho (University of Mary Bismarck)

June 23-24 Robert Kokesh (University of Nebraska)

July 13-14 Chirs Bono and Jon Reader (SDSU)

August 8-9 Shawn Lewis & John Kalda (Governor Wrestling Camp)

All camps will be held at the High School wrestling room.
